• Enjoyed 60+ degree weather in KC. No coat needed!
  • Using a combination of coupons, sales and a $25 Target giftcard from my insurance company’s wellness program, I spent $45 for $110 worth of groceries. Yeah!! That’s $55 savings!
  • I cleaned my apartment.
  • I went on a fun 5-hour shopping trip with Matt to the Oak Park Mall. Matt found some running shoes at Nordstrom Rack and I found much-needed black flats at Payless. We both found some good deals at the Christmas Shop — everything 70 percent off and today was the last day it was open! Matt bought me some Bobbi Brown eyeshadow at Nordstroms and we enjoyed a gyro lunch and some non-fat gelato dessert at the end of our trip. Oh, and I can’t forget— there’s a small American Girl shop that I checked out as well! Memory lane, anyone?
  • I watched a TCM documentary on Christmas movies throughout the ages. I taped it weeks ago, but never had a chance to watch it. I highly recommend it — it’s a great overview of all the Christmas classics, along with interviews and behind the scenes trivia.
  • I also watched “Happy Feet”. So cute.
  • Lastly, I’m super excited for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day tomorrow! I’m off work, and plan to get a lot of my To-Do list items checked off!!!
