do i dare disturb the universe?

Today’s temps have reached the mid-60s here in KC! It’s amazing, considering it’s only January. So, to celebrate the good weather, I winterized a summery dress from my closet, by simply adding black tights, a black blazer and black booties to it (and no coat!!).

The photo on the left was taken last August and shows its “summery” style (and Nancy Drew).

The photo on the right was taken this morning as I was rushing out the door (parden my unkempt room!).

I like this dress works well in both winter and summer. It’s made with a festive, sateen material that reminds me of winter holidays. However, its bright turquoise and white color remind me of spring/summer.
