Remember Perks of Being a Wallflower? It’s coming to theaters this fall!
I remember reading that book as a 15 year old. I actually bought it from Barnes and Noble, opposed to taking it out from the library. My friends and I all highlighted the lines that spoke to us… the lines that were so brazenly, refreshingly honest; the lines that reminded us of ourselves. I even got asked to Prom...

oh, what a night! (december 1963)
My earliest memory of music must have taken place when I was 2 or 3, because my family was still living in Glen Ellyn.
I remember sitting in the living room, upset about something silly, most likely throwing a toddler tantrum. My parents were trying to get me to calm down. Finally, one said, “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”
Moments later, they began spinning a record on their record machine. The music that...

hey friends --
I’ve been a little quiet here lately.
Really, I’m trying to distance myself from my computer. I work on a computer all day for my job. When the work day has ended, I’ve been spending my time getting out and about; doing different things: cooking a new dish, exercising, taking walks, meeting people, reorganizing, getting adequate sleep… in general, fostering healthier...

Me: Hi Eric!
Eric: Hey MEgan!
Eric: Vince and I were talking about how when it comes to music, women in general just don't seem to 'get it'. (go figure)
Eric: However, we both agreed that you are an exception

Eric: so feel good

Monkees singer Davy Jones dies →
:(
Davy is one of my favorites; I’ve seen him live in concert with my Dad years ago, and just recently, I watched him during a PBS 1960s Music Extravaganza. (Yes, it was amazing).
RIP, Davy. Your music always made the day a little bit brighter.
Last night, I dreamt that I was Rob Kardashian's...
… Seriously, it can’t weirder than that!
I’ve never seen a single episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” or any of the other Kardashian television programs. I didn’t even know Rob existed until watching a few episodes of “Dancing with the Stars” last fall.
And seriously, me, a bodyguard?
Weird…
Only hang around people that are positive and make you feel good. Anybody who...

Amen.
Check in.
Life’s been busy. And when life gets crazy, sometimes this blog gets pushed to the back burner.
But, things are getting back to normal, so fingers crossed I’ll get back to blogging tonight. :)
For now, I’m wicked late for work… yikes.

Yep.
